Dresden travelled to Blenheim for a Saturday night game, which turned out to be a very exciting game and the Dresden #3 Midget team walked away with its fourth playoff win. With only nine skaters, the Dresden team skated hard, made great passes and played good hockey.

The new Florence Community Centre is on schedule for a May-June opening. The new multi-purpose facility will serve the Township of Dawn-Euphemia and the neighboring communities. The facility will be the new home to the library and will include a community hall and a community meeting room.

The Dresden Junior Kings #3 midget squad took it to the Blenheim #2 team Feb. 21, winning 9-1. Blenheim's too regular trips to the penalty box proved costly. The team racked up more than 30 minutes in penalties.
